The prestigious Britannia Hotel will re-open in April 2019. ​ The Britannia Hotel in Trondheim has a rich and exciting history dating all the way back to 1870, when it first opened. Over the years, the hotel has been host to several important events, famous guests and royal dinners, and is now currently closed for a major refurbishment over 2,5 years, worth approx. 150 mill. dollars. The Britannia will re-open as an international 5 star hotel with 257 brand new rooms and suites, conference facilities and a beautiful spa. The hotel will have six independent restaurants and bars, ranging from fine dining to casual non-formal dining. Our owner has a dream of recreating the unique position The Britannia Hotel had in its glory days, and to make this hotel one of the absolute best in Scandinavia when it re-opens in 2019.
