What Is Borobotics AG?
With an autonomous and compact drilling robot for boreholes for geothermal probes, we accelerate the heat transition for the net zero goals by reducing the price of the drilling process. The disadvantages of conventional drilling (energy-intensive, expensive, large space needed) are eliminated by integrating the drilling machine directly into the borehole. In particular, construction costs are drastically reduced due to the autonomous and energy-efficient mode of operation. The ZHAW spin-off sells the drilling metre to heat pump installers or drilling companies in a 56 CHF Billion market. Our autonomous drilling robot helps homeowners to switch from grey energy sources to geothermal heating systems. Market entry is planned for 2025. So, the system will be available soon.
