Bohunt Education Trust (BET) is an ambitious, high achieving multi-academy trust based in the South of England. BET currently comprises six schools – in Worthing, Liphook, Portsmouth, Petersfield, Basingstoke and Wokingham – with a new Sixth Form which opened in 2017 in Liphook. We are passionately committed to inspiring children and young people. Central to BET's ethos of ‘enjoy, respect, achieve' is introducing innovation that works. BET has a track record of success: · Its flagship school in Liphook is graded outstanding by Ofsted in every single category and this year 80% of students attained A*- C in Maths and English. It was TES Overall School of the Year in 2014. · Priory school in Portsmouth, which BET took over just two years ago, has seen a rapid and dramatic improvement, achieving an Ofsted Good grading in December 2016. The number of students achieving 5A*-C grades including English and maths GCSE also rose by 12 percentage points this year. · Bohunt School Liphook is one of only 15 schools participating in the Government's Mandarin for Excellence Programme. The programme will allow the Trust to offer advanced Mandarin qualifications, recruit additional staff and offer lessons to even more students as it expands. · We are immensely proud of our Teaching School Alliance (TESLA) TSA – an alliance between primary schools and Bohunt School, Liphook. TESLA offers primary schools a wealth of opportunity, including recruitment.
