Bluestem Communities is the overarching organization of two continuing-care retirement communities, Kidron Bethel Village of North Newton, Kan., and Schowalter Villa of Hesston, Kan. More than 700 residents live on Bluestem Communities campuses. Bluestem Communities offers 393 independent living residences for those ages 62-plus. Residential options include townhomes, duplexes, high-rise apartments, and income-based HUD housing. In addition, the Campus Woods Estates addition in North Newton offers distinctive homes in a residential neighborhood connected to the Kidron Bethel campus.
