Founded in 1998, The Berkshire Group began as a consultancy with nationally recognized expertise in mortgage secondary and asset-backed securitization markets. At the time, our consultants averaged nearly two decades of experience in the mortgage industry, originating, buying, selling, financing and securitizing prime and less-than-prime assets. Since then, Berkshire Group’s growing cadre of expert consultants, analysts, and developers have added to this industry experience, working with originators, buyers, servicers, and Wall Street firms to create unique securitization structures and facilitate complex financial transactions.
