Benenden has been one of the leading boarding schools in Britain for the last 90 years. We were founded in 1923 and we are situated in 240 acres of attractive parkland in Kent, the Garden of England. There are 544 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 180 of those in the Sixth Form. At Benenden we employ over 300 staff in in both teaching and non-teaching staff roles. Benenden is located in a beautiful part of the Kent countryside, between Tenterden and Cranbrook and the rural school campus is a very special place to work.
