The mission of the Barrow County School System is to ensure an exceptional education that leads each student to become a high achieving and responsible citizen. We use a Barrow BOLD approach, which means we are â??Building Our Learning Differently.â??\n\nOur 2,000 employees serve over 14,000 students through nine elementary schools, four middle schools, two traditional high schools, two educational\nprograms, and one career academy serving the high schools. A new high school of choice is currently being built and will specialize in arts and science.
