What is BLIX.network? BLIX is a network of senior business leaders that offer time, knowledge and guidance to help progress diverse talents for free. We provide knowledge talks, workshops and mentorship to underrepresented candidates. We assist mentees in getting interviews, getting hired and getting ahead in their careers. Members share leadership lessons, learnings, experience, business advice, development tools, leadership frameworks & guidance to future leaders. The majority of members have lived the experience of being Black, Asian, minority ethnic, female or underrepresented in tech. They have first hand experience of the biases to overcome, the additional excellence required and emotional intelligence necessary to be successful. What is BLIX's vision? BLIX's vision is to showcase, enable and empower a new wave of Mentorship, Diverse & Inclusive Leadership, Personal Development, Networking and Knowledge eXchange. We will activate a new generation of successful inclusive leaders through 1. Bite-sized mentorship sessions with successful leaders. 2. Championing diversity & inclusion through network and community. 3. Showcasing and encouraging diverse & inclusive leadership through stories, leadership lessons and knowledge exchange talks & workshops. What is BLIX's mission? Our mission is to build a community of diverse leaders to empower, inform and enable the success of more future inclusive leaders from different backgrounds. Our objective is to deliver 500 mentoring sessions by BLIX leaders by the end of 2021. Each having a positive impact on the career and direction of mentees enabling a virtuous cycle of inclusive leadership success. Who is BLIX for? BLIX is for all aspiring inclusive leaders irrespective of background, colour, race, gender, sexual orientation, creed. Leaders come from all backgrounds and ethnicities to highlight, showcase and support inclusive leadership and knowledge exchange.
