The Autins Group develop and manufacture lightweight thermal, filtration and acoustic insulation materials and components for a range of industries. These materials enable manufacturers to make products that are lighter, quieter, more thermally efficient and more environmentally friendly. \n\nAutins is best known for working with the automotive industry, supplying many of the world’s leading car manufacturers and OEMs across Europe and beyond. We are also exploring other sectors including flooring, construction, agriculture, marine, and other industries. \n\nWe are committed to investing in new technology and R&D to produce high-performance materials and components. The Autins Group is also the sole European manufacturer of Neptune, an ultra-fine, lightweight performance fibre which offers superior acoustic and thermal absorption for a range of industrial applications.\n\nBased in the Midlands, the Autins Group has five sites in the UK and two in mainland Europe. The group of companies consists of: \n\n• Automotive Insulations Ltd– home to the company’s headquarters on a purpose built 65,000 sq. ft. site.\n\n• Solar Nonwovens Ltd - the sole European manufacturer of Neptune. Using patented technology from Korea, Solar Nonwovens supplies high performance acoustic and thermal materials.\n\n• Scandins AB – our Swedish site manufactures lightweight acoustic, thermal and NVH products for the Swedish, UK and other European markets.\n\n• RI Rheinland Gmbh – our German site also manufactures lightweight insulation products for the German, UK and other European markets. \n\n• Autins Technical Centre Ltd - the R&D branch of the company, enabling Autins to stay at the forefront of developing new high performance materials. \n\n• Indica Automotive Ltd – a joint venture between Indica Industries and the Autins Group manufacturing foam insulation products.
