What Is Australian Industry Trade College?

At the Australian Industry Trade College (AITC) - RTO 31775, Year 10, 11 and 12 students complete their senior secondary education whilst beginning a school based apprenticeship in an industry. The AITC is a private, independent and co-educational school that selects young people to take on a three year journey that is currently unique in Australian schooling. Whilst completing their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), the young people begin a paid apprenticeship in the trade career of their choice. The AITC has over 600 apprenticeships and traineeships on offer in all major industries including construction, automotive, hospitality and health. The Australian Industry Trade College supports your young person's search for a suitable apprenticeship by employing employment consultants whose role it is to liaise with employers and to coach and mentor young people to ensure that they are matched to the most effective and long term career. The College implements a unique curriculum which allows young people to study at the College for five weeks, followed by five to seven weeks full time as an Australian school based apprentice in the real world of industry. Since opening as an independent College in 2008, over 90% of AITC young people have graduated with a Queensland Certificate of Education and a full time apprenticeship. The College has 2 campuses in Queensland in Robina and Redlands with a third opening up on the Sunshine Coast in July 2018.
