Aspen Music Festival Revenue and Competitors

The Aspen Music Festival and School has offered valley schools enrichment programs in classical music for 12 years under the auspices of M.O.R.E educational outreach. New this year, area adults are invited to join Michael Sherpa for a special master drumming class, Thursday, November 18 at Harris Concert Hall at 7 pm. The remaining 2005 AMFS free family concerts to be held at Harris Concert Hall are: · January 14: The Vinca Quartet, a string quartet from the University of Colorado. · February 11: Antares, four virtuoso instrumentalists whom draw from a vast and colorful repertoire for the clarinet, violin, cello, and piano. · March 4: Composer-in-residence Huang Ruo shares the stage with student composers and presents two original works of his own.
