Althera Revenue and Competitors

Our core mission is to improve lives of millions of patients in the developed and developing world by delivering innovative and complex products - both through our own development and through partnerships with other Pharmaceutical companies. Founded in 2010, Althera is a branded Pharmaceutical R&D and commercialization organization with operations in Ireland (Dublin), USA (New Jersey), and India (Bengaluru). Althera received approval of its own development product AL-320 (rosuvastatin/ezetimibe tablets) in 2017 in major European markets. The product is patented in the US and expected to receive additional patents in US, Europe and other countries. Additionally AL-310 (atorvastatin/ezetimibe) and AL-110 (metformin XR/rosuvastatin tablets) are currently in registration phase in Europe and other markets. We leverage existing molecules with proven efficacy and tolerability, and develop combinations, new formulations (505b2 or Article 10b applications) or new indications that lead to significant clinical and adherence benefits to the patients. Three additional innovative cardiovascular products are expected to be filed in 2018/early 2019. Future pipeline includes product in Cardiovascular, CNS, Anti-infectives and Oncology therapy areas. In addition to our own development, we undertake extensive partnering, licensing and acquisition activities to bring specialty products to market that make significant impact on the lives of patients we aim to serve.
