Alphatec PC is a full service A/E firm located in Dupont Circle and has been providing design and consulting services for over 50 years. We are a small business certified firm that specializes in federal and local government projects. Alphatec has extensive experience with facility types ($250K - $44M) ranging from conventional administrative buildings to highly specialized, prototype projects including bio-medical, R&D laboratory facilities and hangars for several government agencies. Alphatec's portfolio of federal clientele includes NIH, Army, Navy, Air Force, DOJ (FBI), NASA, GSA, AOC, and currently hold two separate IDIQ contracts with DC Department of General Services for both A/E and MEP services. As a further testament to our specialized (laboratory) experience Alpahtec PC is the A/E of Record for NIH Design Requirements Manual, used nationally and internationally. Our most recent honors include receiving the 2018 AGC Architect of the Year Award. Alphatec has also been awarded the 2016, 2015, 2013 & 2010 AGC Architect of the Year Award in addition to a multitude of project specific awards.
