Academy Canada is Eastern Canada's largest independent career college. Founded in 1985, Academy Canada has become the leader in providing a full-service career-based training system that combines solid academic experiences with practical hands-on training. All of Academy Canada’s graduates possess the skills and experience that is required to compete aggressively in the workforce.\r\n\r\nNationally accredited by the Canadian Education and Training Accreditation Commission (CETAC) since 1990, Academy Canada is proud to be the only college in Newfoundland and Labrador with that national endorsement. The college takes a leadership role in encouraging national standards in all of its educational programs and constantly seeks other forms of program and course accreditation to enhance the credentials of its graduates. \r\n\r\nAcademy Canada has three campus locations in Corner Brook and St. John's. They also provide Adult Basic Education programs in Baie Verte, Bonavista, Deer Lake, Happy Valley - Goose Bay, Hopedale, Labrador West, Nain, North West River (Sheshatshiu), Placentia, Seal Cove (Conception Bay South), and St. Anthony.
