About
Founded in 1975, Heinz Musitronics started as a local music store that also dabbled in church audio installations. In 2002, Steve Hobeck purchased Heinz Musitronics with the vison of growing the business to meet customer demand in the installation realm. With one employee focusing on retail and Steve focusing on installations, the business grew quite nicely until 2008, when the economy hit a major recession. At this time a transition was made from a music-store-centric business to a commercial AV company. In 2009, now with five employees, the business name was changed to Heinz ProAV in order to better reflect the evolving nature and growth of our AV activities. In 2018, with twelve employees, we once again made another name change to Spectrum Integrators. It was at this time we made a strategic decision to enter into the newly emerging Low-Voltage contracting area – adding security, structured cabling, and several other technologies that fall under this category. This has enabled us to be a one-stop-shop for construction jobs that require these technologies, rather that have multiple contractors. The growth and evolution of our business has been driven by the evolving needs of our customers and the advancement of new and/or evolving technologies. We are now a very different company than were eighteen years ago. Our new name more accurately describes who we are and what we do. What started out as a small, local music store has now become a highly competitive commercial AV and Low Voltage (LV) design-build business. DCJS# 11-17121
