Oceanview has partnered with Oceanview Asset Management, LLC a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bayview Asset Management, LLC (“Bayviewâ€), to serve as Oceanview’s investment manager. Bayview is an investment management firm primarily focused on mortgage credit. Bayview is headquartered in Coral Gables, FL and has additional asset management offices in New York and Iowa, and loan servicing and origination affiliates in seven U.S. states and Italy. Bayview has a proven track record of investing since 1995 and will, through Oceanview Asset Management, LLC, manage Oceanview’s portfolio with an emphasis on high-quality mortgages and other related assets. As of June 30, 2020, Bayview oversees approximately $14.7 billion in assets under management. In May 2018, Bayview raised $1 billion of equity capital from institutional investors to fund Oceanview. In April 2019, Oceanview Life and Annuity received its Certificate of Authority from the Colorado Division of Insurance. Oceanview focuses on providing high quality products and services to its policyholders and maintaining appropriate financial protection over the life of their policies.
