EnviroLogix manufactures and markets tests for detection of certain chemicals and toxins in agriculture/food/crop, environmental, industrial and human samples. These tests, which are generally immunoassays, enable rapid, sensitive and economic screening of large numbers of samples in markets previously constrained by high cost and slow turn-around time. The Company was founded in 1996 by Bruce Ferguson, who had previously founded and managed ImmunoSystems, Inc. ImmunoSystems pioneered the environmental use of immunoassay beginning in 1986 when the principal applications of immunoassay were in medical diagnostics and drug monitoring. EnviroLogix is staffed with professionals formerly from ImmunoSystems and other diagnostic companies in southern Maine and the surrounding area. The Company is a privately owned Maine corporation, funded by its management and outside shareholders. Its Board of Directors includes Bruce Ferguson, Chairman; Peter Johnson; and independent directors in the medical and investment fields. The Company operates in 26,000 s.f. of leased facilities in Portland, Maine. It is conveniently located near the Maine Turnpike, downtown Portland, and the Portland Jetport which is served by a number of major carriers. Management and staff of EnviroLogix pride themselves on responsiveness and innovation. We have the capacity to scale up for large production requirements, yet retain interest in smaller, specialized needs. Contact us if you do not see your diagnostic solution in our current catalog. Additional products are constantly in the pipeline, as are additional applications. A new Application Guide may address your specific requirements. Otherwise, we are always interested in new product potential and would welcome hearing from you.
