Milton Roy is implementing Market Rate of Demand Manufacturing (MRODM) to serve our customers more responsively. We have already instituted MRODM for our complete range of mRoy pumps. MRODM is currently being implemented on our Milroyal, maxRoy, maxRoy Series G, and Centrac production lines. As a result, order fulfillment times have been slashed. 90% of current deliveries now occur within a single week. Recently installed solid modeling software dramatically compresses design time. We now move from design to pour casting in only four weeks, accelerating our speed to market with new products. We created a dedicated aftermarket team to better serve customers. Milton Roy has the largest installed base of pumps worldwide. To support the tremendous number of Milton Roy pumps already on the market, the aftermarket team will have its own machine shop in 1998. The aftermarket team has been empowered to create a custom part for a 25 year old pump and deliver it in a week. Additionally, Milton Roy provides superior customer service delivered through a worldwide regional office network offering application expertise, administration of local export requirements and product engineering support.
