Governed by a volunteer board of directors (entrepreneurs-in-residence) and staffed with business professionals delivering an array of entrepreneurial development and finance programs funded by FedDev Ontario and the Government of Canada, NCFDC also manages an investment portfolio that drives business start up and expansion as well as an array of innovative entrepreneurial development initiatives. NCFDC is a Founder of StrikeUP (Canada's leading digital conference event for women entrepreneurship) the DELIA fintech-driven micro-loan fund for women entrepreneurs, Venture13 and the V13 Policetech Accelerator, a joint venture with the Cobourg Police Service and is committed to local and regional economic development and diversification.
