It might be a mouthful to say, but Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Company sells more than a handful of building materials to customers in the Southwest. Through about 80 locations in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas, it sells hardware, lumber, paint, plumbing equipment, and tools. Foxworth-Galbraith's main customers are residential and commercial builders; other clients include do-it-yourselfers, retailers, specialty contractors, and federal and state agencies. The company acquired Brookhart's Building Centers in Colorado in 1999. Foxworth-Galbraith is still owned and operated by the families of W. L. Foxworth and H. W. Galbraith, who founded the company in Dalhart, Texas, in 1901.
