General Graphene was inspired by a presentation at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The presentation left founder and CEO, Vig Sherrill, wondering how this material could change the world. To commercialize the material, the company realized it was a problem of engineering, not science. So, General Graphene was off to the races solving this problem. With the support of great investors, General Graphene has been able to perform R&D that has allowed them to prepare for mass production of graphene films in large volumes, high quality, and low costs.
