About We are a charter school, preschool, Family Center, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts with a campus in South Phoenix. We provide a "Whole Child Education" Mission Paideia Academy utilizes a family centric model to enlist the support of families in the education and upbringing of the whole child - academic & intellectual, recreational & cultural, character & leadership, emotional, physical, & mental health – to empower students to achieve success in college, career, citizenship, and family life. Pillars of Paideia The Pillars of Paideia support the Whole-Child Mission Safe - Healthy - Engaged - Challenged - Supported - Integrated Description Paideia is a Greek term for the upbringing of the whole child. Paideia Academies provides a discovery-based, project-oriented learning environment. We currently serve infants through 5th grade with expansion to the 6th grade in 2013.
