Classified by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) as a small business, its capabilities include technology management, systems engineering & integration, radar systems engineering, combat/C4I systems engineering, and communications engineering. Founded in 1978 in Albany, New York, as a digital signal processor (DSP) application developer, the Company has now branched out into two locations. Our headquarters are located at 707 Alexander Road in Princeton, NJ, and our Engineering and Operational Center has recently relocated to 220 Commerce Drive, Fort Washington, PA. Initially, Mikros’s technology was targeted for military applications; however, the related knowledge base and proprietary technology developed was recognized as being applicable to the rapidly expanding wireless business in the commercial sector.
