Magilla Entertainment, LLC is Brian Flanagan and Laura Palumbo Johnson. Brian and Laura have been producing, line producing, writing, directing, creating and selling television together and individually for over 10 years. They have created television for a wide variety of media outlets (ABC, HBO, Bravo, MTV, VH-1, TLC, Discovery, fX, AMC, Oxygen, E!, Style, Food Network, HGTV, DIY, CMT, The WB and TruTV, to name a few…). Brian was most recently Vice President of Current Series and Development for Original Media and Laura was Senior Vice President of Production Operations for City Lights Media. Laura and Brian have a diverse background, working and collaborating in docu-reality, celeb-realtiy, competition reality, scripted hybrid, makeover, hidden camera, game show and talk/variety shows. They met 6 years ago on a series for TLC called Help Wanted and teamed again in 2009 after leaving their positions at two successful companies to create what is now Magilla. Magilla is currently in production on a branded special about Ecco Domani Wine’s Fashion Foundation that will air on Lifetime in March 2010 and they are actively shopping talent and formats. In January, 2010, Magilla begins production on a new series for Oxygen to air mid May.Magilla Entertainment Address
