Lafayette General Medical Center is a full-service hospital for our patients suffering from orthopedic and neurological problems. Our orthopedic/neurological services focus on treating problems with the neck, back, hip, knee, shoulder and ankles, including total joint replacements. Our neurological staff is expertly trained to care for patients who've had spinal surgeries and any type of brain injury including any type of bleeding in the cranial region, close-head injuries and tumors. We are fully equipped to care for victims of a cerebral vascular accident, more commonly known as a stroke. We also offer seizure and headache management. We offer full service inpatient and outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation services. This includes physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our therapists are experienced and offer the continuum from inpatient to outpatient care. We can also transition patients into Wellness programs.
