In 2005, API RP1162 was passed, mandating that all pipeline operators develop a public awareness plan and execute it annually. At that time, many companies were touting their public awareness services. By 2011, there was only one public awareness provider supporting the entire pipeline industry. Mark G. Allen, founded Enertech in 2011, to provide an alternative to the status quo in the industry. Developing an alternative in all facets was the goal. An alternative service level, alternative technology, and alternative data. Once this was accomplished, Enertech expanded its service offerings. The offerings included Liaison Services, Integrity Management, and Damage Prevention Programs. Looking toward the future Enertech will continue to provide the best in class service and the most technologically based services in the industry.
