YMCA Calgary is a hardworking non-profit organization that has been building healthy communities for over 113 years. Its mission is to promote the spiritual, mental, physical and social development of individuals and to foster a sense of responsibility in the community. YMCA Calgary has five health and wellness facilities, two outdoor camp sites (one in Calgary and one in Bow Valley Provincial Park), and delivers community outreach programs at over 60 locations throughout Calgary. Fees collected for programs, services, admissions and memberships are invested right back into the organization to help maintain facilities, deliver programs and services and provide fee assistance to those in need.
