About
Hall Ambulance Service, Inc. provides total emergency medical transportation solutions for over 88% of Kern County, California’s population, including 9-1-1 paramedic, critical care transport, and air ambulance service. The Company was founded on February 10, 1971, by Harvey L. Hall, under the ideals of care, compassion, and community, also known as the “Hall Way of Doing Things” that are still followed today. Hall Ambulance is known for providing high-quality advanced life support and basic life support care. Our paramedics and EMTs work in an environment offering the newest equipment, and ambulances that are clean, stocked and ready for the next shift. Hall Ambulance is the 9-1-1 paramedic provider for seven of the ten exclusive operating areas within Kern County, enabling our paramedics and EMTs to work in a diverse geographic environment, from busy-metropolitan to mountain and desert terrain. Working with Kern County’s 9-1-1 center, Hall Ambulance's Communications Center (OCD) is responsible for dispatching 100% of ambulance requests for medical aid in Kern County. It is one of 90 centers around the world to have achieved status as an Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) from the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED). Hall Critical Care Transport provides regional interfacility transport solutions for when a patient requires specialized care at another medical facility. Hall CCT is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS), and was the first accredited ground CCT provider in the state of California.
