The hospital also strives to assist in the provision of an adequate number of primary care and specialty physicians in the region in order to facilitate access to healthcare services. Insofar as Tift Regional Medical Center is a regional referral facility serving the healthcare needs of many citizens in South Central Georgia, the Hospital Authority recognizes its responsibility in a multi-county region.
