All Board programs and services are licensed by the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services. Legislation to create the Community Services Boards was enacted by the Virginia General Assembly under Chapter 10 of Title 37.1, of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended.
