Service King opened in 1976 when Mr. Edward Lennox purchased an existing paint and body shop operating in a small tin building with a hand painted sign in Dallas, Texas. (Shown Right).Over the next twelve years, five locations were opened successfully in Arlington, Mesquite, Carrollton, Irving, and Plano. In 1996, Eddie decided that Service King would expand within the Dallas/Ft.Worth area under his ownership. Since then we've opened sixteen additional locations, for a total of twenty two repair facilities in the DFW area.
