Space Concordia is an award-winning, multidisciplinary student society of over 200 students from various fields of studies working in different subdivisions such as Spacecraft, Ground Station, Rocketry and Robotics. The society's mission is to promote the learning and application of space engineering by providing students with opportunities to participate in space-related projects and competitions.
Our history has been a prestigious one: our first satellite entry won 1st place in the first iteration of the Canadian Satellite Design Challenge, and our 2nd entry won 2nd place on the next iteration. Our rocket has won 2nd place in the Payload category in the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition, and our robotics division will be competing for the first time this year with a new mars rover.
We also host multiple outreach opportunities for the local community to inspire future generations. In addition to all of this exposure, our team consists of intelligent and dedicated students who can prove to be a great human resource for prospective employment.
