About
The Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is the leading metropolitan horse racing club in Queensland, conducting 98 race meetings and hosting over 300,000 patrons each year. The BRCs mission is to grow and develop horse racing in Queensland through driving an improved entertainment experience which increases attendances. The Club operates two race tracks, Eagle Farm and Doomben, as well as two world-class polo fields which are located infield at Doomben. The BRC family also consists of a 7 day licensed venue, Gallopers Sports Club, which is situated on the Eagle Farm site, at the corner of Nudgee and Lancaster Roads. The highlight on the BRCs racing calendar is the Brisbane Racing Carnival, run across five consecutive Saturdays in May and June, which features a rich programme of Group racing including the Doomben 10,000 and the AAMI Stradbroke Handicap. Each year the BRC also hosts many other feature racing events and promotions including Exhibition Wednesday, Melbourne Cup Day and Girls Day Out.
