Uwajimaya has been serving the Pacific Northwest since 1928 and is committed to supporting local non-profit organizations and events. Uwajimaya is particularly focused on those organizations that promote community development, education, senior and elderly assistance and multi-cultural issues. To request a donation please review the guidelines and criteria outlined below and submit a Donation Request Form (pdf format). All requests must be submitted in writing; phone and email solicitations are no longer accepted and will not be returned. Requests should be submitted at least one month in advance of an event to allow for review. All donations are made in the form of Uwajimaya gift certificates, which may be used as auction items, raffle prizes or redeemed for merchandise by the requesting organization. Uwajimaya does not authorize monetary or merchandise donations. Due to the large number of requests received, Uwajimaya is unable to guarantee a response to all donation requests. Organizations will be contacted if additional information is required or if a request is approved; please no phone calls.
