About
Wind energy is the future and hope of the upcoming generations, as well as a long-term and secure investment. Offshore wind energy is currently one of the fastest-growing branches of the energy industry in Europe, especially in Poland. The Polish wind energy sector is actively working to transform the energy landscape in which we live. \n\nOur company, Baltic Towers, is guided by the need for change, modernization, and above all, active participation in this process with benefit for the growth of the Polish economy and local society. It is particularly important to us, that together with our esteemed partnership company from Spain, we can jointly, share knowledge and skills, to create a project that will change the Polish energy sector landscape. \n\nAt Baltic Towers we envision a future where we can be proud of taking a part in clean energy generation and sharing it with the rest of the world. \n\nBaltic Towers was established in 2023 as a result of cooperation between the polish Industrial Development Agency and the Spanish company GRI Renewable Industries.\n\nThis joint project aims to build the largest and most advanced offshore wind towers factory in Europe. The investment is located on Ostrów Island in Gdańsk, in the very center of the Pomeranian Industrial Region, located near the Baltic Sea. The factory with access to the port will allow for the creation of a production hall where towers for wind turbines with a capacity of 15 MW and more will be manufactured.\n\nThe plant will have sufficient production capacity to produce over 150 towers per year. The investment will contribute to the creation of 500 new, specialized jobs, which will have a significant impact on the local community. \n\nBaltic Towers factory is an important and key element in strengthening the Polish supply chain for offshore wind energy.
