Peterson Beckner Industries, Inc. (PBI) was established September 1, 1992 as the result of a merger between Peterson Brothers Steel Erection Company and Regional Contracting Corporation.
Founded in 1936, Peterson Brothers Steel Erection Company maintained an enviable and formidable reputation as premier constructor of heavy and complex steel framed structures in the commercial, institutional and industrial sectors.
Regional Contracting Corporation was established in 1975 to serve the fast growing demand for a merit shop contractor capable of erecting complex steel structures.
The merger of the companies created an organization with established strategic capabilities of estimating, engineering, field operations and a fleet of debt-free heavy construction equipment. The experience and proven success of the two firms has provided PBI with essential financial resources of working capital, established bank lines of credit and a strong surety bond relationship.
