Gessner Engineering offers construction materials testing, geotechncial engineering, structural engineering, and civil engineering services. We are able to offer this wide variety of services by combining engineers, who specialize in the various disciplines, with a logical approach to problem solving. While our engineers may specialize, we strive for each engineer to develop a level of competency in all areas in which we practice. This allows for everyone to contribute on any project. Our construction materials testing services provide necessary testing of soil, concrete and flexible pavements in accordance with ASTM standards. Qualified engineering technicians perform our field and lab operations, with support from the engineering staff. Gessner Engineering provides geotechnical services for residential, commercial, and industrial projects throughout Texas. Our engineers use the data derived from laboratory tests performed on soil samples to provide design recommendations for foundation, retaining walls, pile systems and pavements. Located in the Brazos Valley, we specialize in solving problems associated with the highly expansive clay soils found in this area. The staff at Gessner Engineering also has experience with geotechnical challenges in the under-consolidated clays of the coastal plains, the Hill country chalk and limestone, and the sandy soils of the Piney Woods. Structural engineering services include residential, commercial, and industrial designs. The engineers at Gessner Engineering have experience working with and combining wood and timber, hot and cold rolled steel, concrete and masonry. Our knowledge of geotechnical engineering facilitates the design of foundations in expansive clays. Gessner Engineering provides civil engineering projects ranging form drainage rehabilitation, parking lot and site development design, to land development (subdivision design). We have worked in numerous cities in central Texas, as well as, throughout the state. These projects typically involve a great deal of coordination with city requirements and regulation, and our versatility allows us to adapt and address the comments of each municipality.Gessner Engineering Address
