CapBio's first product is the patent-pending SteadiSet infusion set for insulin pump therapy. The company is based in Irvine, CA and is a spin-out of the Artificial Pancreas Center at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. This ongoing academic-industry collaboration is focused on improving the comfort, reliability and predictability of insulin infusion therapy.
