Simprints is a nonprofit tech company committed to improving the lives of the impoverished by solving the identification challenge for good. Accurately linking people to their digital records is a critical bottleneck in the delivery of mobile services in healthcare, microfinance, and aid distribution. We have built a mobile biometric scanner and open-standard software to empower the mobile tools used by researchers, NGOs and governments around the world.
In 2017, Simprints won a Round 7 Saving Lives at Birth Transition to Scale grant which will allow scaling its partnership with BRAC's maternal health program to reach 2 million expectant mothers and children in Bangladesh.
Current partners include BRAC (Bangladesh), Cohesu (Kenya), EPRI (Nigeria), Impact Network (Zambia), Possible (Nepal), and Watsi (Uganda).
