New York Kitchen is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to educate, engage and excite visitors in a celebration of the incredible agriculture, craft beverage and culinary bounty of New York State. Each day we drive our mission forward through our educational hands-on cooking and craft beverage pairing classes, industry certification courses, Junior Chef Initiative in partnership with area after school programs, and our 100% New York State Tasting Room. The New York State Wine and Culinary Center, Inc. dba New York Kitchen originated from the collaboration of Constellation Brands, Wegmans Food Markets, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the New York Wine and Grape Foundation. These forces came together with the passion to create a gateway for people around the world to experience New York’s incredible agriculture and viticulture industries. On June 16, 2006, we opened our doors as The New York State Wine & Culinary Center and on April 17, 2018 we re-branded as New York Kitchen. Since inception, our mission has remained the same; to educate, engage and excite our visitors of the wonderful craft beverage, culinary and agriculture bounty New York State offers. Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, New York Kitchen provides an opportunity to explore the flavors of New York in a setting found nowhere else. Experience craft beer, wine, spirits, and the freshest locally sourced ingredients around, all in one scenic place, right on Canandaigua Lake.
