About
Making IoT safe and easy! Connecting our smart future!! 30% of all IoT devices are Bluetooth based. Bluetooth doesn't use IP address. So, a server in IP network, like in cloud, can not specify BLE devices it needs to connect. This is a problem because AI and Big Data require a lot of data from authenticated BLE devices to do smart things. Major industry players have known this problem already but coming up with a light, fast, and effective solution is proven to be difficult. VitaNet has created software libraries that identify and authenticate Bluetooth LE (BLE) devices, like IoT sensors, through a gateway using a VitaNet Secure Key. (US Patent) The ID/Authentication is integrated with BLE security model by automating BLE paring. So, bi-directional communication between BLE devices and gateways/smartphones are all authenticated and encrypted. BLE devices can be controlled and managed by servers in IP network/cloud easily and securely. You can use any cloud service provider(s) of your choice, like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and others. VitaNet software is fully compliant with Bluetooth standards. It doesn't require any special hardware/chip in a BLE device. Code size on BLE device and on gateway is small. Connection is fast. BLE device power consumption is lower than typical implementations. Please contact us for more info.
