Madison Pension Services is a twenty-five year old employee benefits consulting and administrative services firm. We are knowledgeable in all forms of employee benefit plans. Our clients all receive accurate, timely and personalized service. In many cases, our services begin with the design of the plan. For 25 years, Madison has earned the trust, respect and continued business of an impressive range of clientele- from single-owner / employee companies to those with more than 3,000 employees. Each project that we undertake for our clients will be done with care and thought and be delivered on time and on budget. We begin by asking a simple question; What is the client trying to accomplish and what is the most cost-effective way to achieve their objectives? We also provide ongoing administrative services for retirement plans, including yearly valuations (quarterly for 401(k) plans), participant statements, preparation of Forms 5500 and 1099, trust accounting, termination calculations, loan calculations, and non-discrimination testing. We draft plan documents and provide amendment and restatement services when needed. We ensure that the plan is updated to comply with IRS law changes, and we are always in close contact with the Plan Administrator and/or Plan Sponsor to keep them and their advisors abreast of these changes. Our experienced staff is trained to provide guidance for all aspects of the maintenance of retirement plans. However, things change. As they do, our consultants will suggest modifications to the plan so that the plan changes with the times. Some of the modifications that we have recommended have saved our clients tens of thousands of dollars. In order to ensure that our clients can choose the daily valuation system that is right for them, we have formed alliances with the following institutional providers of recordkeeping services: Nationwide, Manulife, MassMutual ING, Principal, the Hartford, and the Travelers. They all provide the plan participants with 800 numbers, Internet access, and the participants have the ability to make investment changes whenever and wherever they want. While the services that these institutions provide are remarkably similar, interacting with them is definitely not. All of these institutions have different ways that they want information provided to them and many of them require that salary deferrals be remitted to them in a specific format. We manage that process for you, so that your employees\' salary deferrals are always invested as timely and as effortlessly as possible. We also serve as your advocate with the institution.
