The company operates six facilities near the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma. Each one has unique physical characteristics, allowing for shipment of a variety of freight via rail and/or truck. MP has more than 350,000 square feet of warehouse space, 170 truck doors and 70 railcar spots available.
Our Seattle and Tacoma facilities each specialize in transloading a wide range of products, such as lumber, paper, bentonite, refrigerated cargo, steel, and dry bulk commodities. MacMillan-Piper is a designated U. S. Customs Examination Station (CES) for the Port of Seattle, which allows us to expedite cargo clearance for importers and exporters. MP also operates USDA-certified food-grade warehouses in both Seattle and Tacoma.
