The Cabarrus Health Alliance (CHA), the health department serving Cabarrus County, brings nationally recognized leadership and expertise in public health to the the NC Research Campus. CHA is one of the only nationally certified public health departments in the country. CHA provides many free to low-cost classes and programs for the residents of Cabarrus County on subjects such as healthy cooking, yoga, nutrition education and disease management.
