Nantahala Outdoor Center is the nation's largest whitewater rafting company, rafting nine rivers in the Southeastern United States including the Chattooga, Cheoah, French Broad, Gauley, Nantahala, New, Nolichucky, Ocoee, and Pigeon. Additionally, NOC operates an adventure resort in Wesser, NC where the Appalachian Trail crosses the Nantahala River.
