Genesys Works Chicago's mission is to provide pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships. We envision a future when all youth finish high school equipped and empowered with the knowledge and skills required to achieve career success and a lifetime of economic self-sufficiency. Students growing up in low-income environments often don’t know what career opportunities exist, nor do they realize that a professional career is attainable, putting them on a lifelong path of under-employment and unable to reach their true potential.
