Our Mission: is to empower individuals and families affected by behavioral health conditions to achieve a healthy and meaningful life through the use of recovery-based community services and our shared experiences. Our Vision: is to create a community of Hope, Purpose, and Wellness. How do we model Peer Support? CHEEERS understands that Recovery is a Process - over 90% of our staff have personal experience with mental illness or substance abuse. Our participants receive one-on-one guidance, recovery support, and emotional encouragement from state-certified CHEEERS Peer Support Specialists.
