South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue is a Regional Fire Authority (RFA) that staffs 14 stations 24/7, serving more than 250,000 residents in unincorporated Southwest Snohomish County and the Cities of Lynnwood, Brier, Edmonds, and Mountlake Terrace; responding annually to more than 35,000 fire and emergency medical calls. All firefighters are certified as either emergency medical technicians or paramedics. Firefighters specializing in hazardous material response and technical rescue are on duty daily.
