Applied Innovation is bringing UCI discoveries to life by creating a vibrant, interconnected community of students, scholars, industries and entrepreneurs. The Cove is a 31,000 sq. ft. collaborative space, designed as a microcosm of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, located in University Research Park at UC Irvine. By co-locating inventors, entrepreneurs, accelerators and incubators, the Cove allows the Institute to act like a flywheel for innovation, providing a strong foundation for the commercialization of ideas and creation and expansion of companies and jobs through proximity and collaboration.
