RNG Group Inc. also known as Renogy Solar, began as a small operation at the Louisiana Business and Technology Center at Louisiana State University (LSU). Renogy LLC was organized in 2010 and soon after, the company founder and CEO began selling a limited range of on and off grid solar panels and supplies on Amazon and Ebay. In January of 2013, Renogy launched its exclusive online store, www.Renogy-Store.com. At that time, business really picked up and it only made sense to relocate the company headquarters. In mid-2013, Renogy relocated to Chino, CA and incorporated as RNG Group Inc. In 2015, Renogy relocated to an even larger warehouse/office in Ontario, California. In 2015, the Louisiana Business and Technology Center recognized Renogy as the Graduate of the Year. In 2016, Renogy placed 444th on Inc. 5000's Fastest Growing Businesses in America list. That same year, Renogy won two bronze-level Golden Bridge Awards, one for Best Product of the Year (Lycan) and one for the Best Founder of the Year. Renogy also won two gold-level awards, one for Best Energy/Utility Product (Lycan) and the other for Company Growth. Most recently, Renogy placed 25th out of 50 on the Fastest Growing Women-Owned Business list released by the Women Presidents Organization in partnership with American Express.
